HICMR Infection Control Consultants conduct regular state based Workshops for all healthcare workers involved in the care and processing of medical instruments and equipment in Operating Theatres and Sterilising Services, and care and processing of flexible endoscopes and Diagnostic Probes in Endoscopy, Operating Theatres, Sterilising Services, Cath Labs and Consulting Rooms, etc. These Workshops are relevant to most healthcare settings, including Hospitals, Day Surgeries and Office-based Practices, to enhance Infection Control standards in their facility.
HICMR now also offer Preceptor Workshops for Clients who utilise the HICMR Endoscopy and/or Sterilising Services Infection Control Education Programs which are based on a ‘Train the Trainer’ model. Endoscopy and Sterilising Services Preceptors (both existing and new) who have been nominated as the ‘Trainer’ for their facility to implement/maintain the Endoscopy or Sterilising Services Education Program should attend this Workshop. NB. The nominated Preceptor should meet the Position Requirements in the relevant HICMR Education Program.
Included for participants in the Program are Presentations, discussion and interactive hands-on sessions, comprehensive workbook, relevant reference articles, examples, and an opportunity for networking and discussion. Morning Tea and Lunch will be provided as applicable.
