Our People
Helen Musgrove and Anne Lyon are the principal partners of HICMR Pty Ltd. They are Registered Nurses each with nearly 25 years experience in the field of Infection Control. They employ a team of highly qualified and experienced Infection Control Consultants.
Helen and Anne have extensive experience in Infection Control Adverse Event and Risk Management, policy development, and advising on new developments and refurbishments at local, corporate and government levels. They regularly undertake facility-wide Infection Control Risk Reviews of new and existing clients using unique evidence-based and outcomes-focused Risk Assessment tools in order to ensure compliance with national, state and professional standards and regulations.
Both Helen and Anne have been involved in the development and successful implementation of national Infection Control Risk Management Programs, including the specialty areas of Flexible Endoscopy and Sterilising Services that have significantly improved standards and reduced risks in many healthcare facilities around Australia. They are both certified trainers.
They regularly present at state and national conferences and are often involved in advisory capacities with Health Departments and Regulatory Bodies regarding Infection Control issues, including the development and review of standards/guidelines, and the assessment and management of adverse events.
